Welcome Flore

As our first dedicated finance leader, Flore will own everything from day-to-day financial operations to strategic planning, investor reporting, and capital allocation. Her mandate is simple and ambitious: build a finance engine that can keep pace with our product, our clients, and the scale of digital asset infrastructure we’re helping to create.

A career in building finance for high-growth companies

Flore has spent her career building and running finance teams for VC-backed startups and scaleups across Europe, the US, and Asia. For nearly a decade, she has worked as a fractional CFO for Seed to Series B companies, designing the financial backbone that lets teams grow quickly without losing control.

Most recently, Flore was CFO at ALGAMA Foods, a food-tech scaleup producing algae-based ingredients for the food and beverage industry and backed by major investors and corporates. Before that, she spent several years as CEO of Jellynote, a digital sheet music marketplace with millions of users, and co-founded ToMASTER, a B2B marketplace in Shanghai connecting space owners with designers, artists, and architects. Earlier in her career, she was a Senior Investment Associate at Coller Capital and worked in Leveraged Finance at UBS and BNP Paribas, advising on LBOs, building complex models, and gaining deep experience with capital structures, debt products, and investor expectations.

This combination of investment banking, operational CFO work, and founder experience gives her an uncommon ability to move seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution, exactly what a company like Dfns needs at this stage.

Turning finance into a strategic engine at Dfns

At Dfns, Flore’s mission is to turn finance into a real-time decision system. She will lead all financial operations and own planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking. She will work closely with the leadership team to turn our roadmap and product strategy into clear financial plans that are easy to follow, measure, and adjust as we grow. Finance will not just be about closing the books; it will give everyone a live view of where we stand and where we are going.

A core part of her role will be to ensure compliance with SOC 1 and other financial and regulatory standards, working closely with legal, security, and operations. She will help shape contracts, compliance frameworks, and risk processes so that commercial deals, vendor agreements, and operational commitments support a strong financial position. She will also build scalable systems and processes to support international growth, making sure our finance infrastructure can handle multiple entities, currencies, and regulations without friction.

Beyond daily operations, Flore will be a strategic advisor on pricing, partnerships, and corporate structure. She will help us think clearly about how we price our products, how we share value with partners, and how to structure the company for long-term growth. Her background in FP&A, financial reporting, fundraising, and M&A gives her the ability to model complex scenarios, explain them clearly to boards and investors, and turn them into concrete plans for teams. She brings the analytical depth, communication skills, and hands-on discipline needed to run day-to-day finance while driving strategy forward.

A global, mission-driven perspective for Dfns

Flore brings a truly global perspective. She has worked across France, the UK, the US, and China, and has partnered with distributed teams across time zones and cultures. That matters for Dfns, where our clients, partners, and internal teams are spread across regions and subject to very different regulatory, tax, and banking environments.

As we scale our wallet infrastructure for banks, fintechs, and institutions, the bar for financial discipline, transparency, and investor-grade reporting keeps rising. Flore’s experience building finance functions for high-growth, VC-backed companies, combined with her background in investment banking and entrepreneurship, is exactly what we need for this next phase. Her leadership will help us align growth with clarity and control, giving our teams, clients, and investors confidence that Dfns is not only building the right products, but doing so on a solid financial foundation.
