José Aguinaga is the Head of Solutions Engineering at Dfns. He previously co-founded Tungsten Custody, a sovereign-backed crypto custodian in Abu Dhabi, where he served as CTO. Prior to that, he led Digital Custody Services at AMINA Bank (formerly SEBA Bank) in Switzerland, overseeing billions in digital assets under FINMA supervision. José has over 15 years of experience building secure financial and custody systems, with prior roles at Plaid, Numbrs, HOPR, and Flynt Bank.
