Welcoming Rija Ramarinjanahary as Finance Manager at Dfns.

As Dfns continues to grow as a global infrastructure provider for digital asset wallets, strengthening our internal financial systems and controls becomes increasingly important. Today, we are pleased to welcome Rija as our Finance Manager. Rija will play a key role in reinforcing the financial framework that supports our operations and in preparing the company for the next stage of institutional maturity, including expanding our compliance posture toward SOC 1.

Building the financial foundations of Dfns

Dfns operates at the intersection of software infrastructure and financial services. Our platform powers digital asset wallets and transaction orchestration for banks, fintechs, and financial institutions across more than 100 blockchains.

As our client base grows and our technology becomes embedded in critical financial operations, our internal financial discipline must evolve with it. This means strengthening internal controls, improving reporting processes, and ensuring our financial operations meet the expectations of enterprise customers and institutional partners. Rija joins us to help build and run this financial framework. His work will focus on:

  • strengthening financial planning and reporting
  • improving operational controls across finance and operations
  • supporting long-term strategic planning as Dfns scales globally
  • helping expand our compliance posture toward SOC 1, alongside our existing security certifications (his work complements the broader trust framework behind the Dfns platform, which already includes SOC 2 Type I & II and ISO 27001, 27017, and 27018 certifications).

Advancing toward SOC 1 readiness is part of that effort. It strengthens the financial controls that complement our existing security certifications and audits conducted by firms such as Deloitte and KPMG. These investments help ensure that Dfns remains a trusted infrastructure provider for the institutions building the next generation of financial systems.

The addition of Rija reflects a broader focus within Dfns on building strong foundations as we scale. Alongside continued product innovation in wallet infrastructure and authentication technology, we are investing in the governance, compliance, and financial frameworks expected by global financial institutions.

Experience across startups and global transactions

Rija brings more than eight years of experience in FP&A, transaction services, and M&A, with a career spanning consulting, large international groups, and fast-growing startups.

He began his career at Mazars, where he worked in transaction services conducting financial due diligence for private equity and corporate clients across sectors including healthcare, industry, and services.

He later joined Orange through its graduate program. He first worked in FP&A, where he designed forecasting tools supporting more than one million fiber customers and helped develop KPIs that contributed to strong subscription growth. Rija then moved into the M&A team at Orange, where he led financial modeling for more than 15 transactions totaling over €22 billion in enterprise value. His work supported major strategic deals such as the Orange–MásMóvil merger and acquisitions of cloud and digital infrastructure companies.

Most recently, Rija served as Finance Manager at Algama Foods, where he managed the full finance function for a 30-person company. In that role, he led strategic planning, investor and board reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial modeling used to secure €3 million in equity financing and more than €10 million in public grants. He also implemented finance automation tools that reduced closing cycles by half.

At Dfns, finance is not just about reporting numbers. It is about helping the company make better decisions. Rija will work closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams to strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking. His work will help ensure that our growth remains disciplined, transparent, and aligned with long-term strategy. This approach is especially important for infrastructure companies like Dfns, where financial planning must support long-term investments in security, reliability, and global scalability.
