Dfns appoints Felix Eigelshoven as Head of Asia Pacific.

We’re pleased to welcome Felix Eigelshoven as our new Head of APAC, based in Hong Kong. Felix will lead Dfns’ expansion in Asia, bringing our secure wallet infrastructure to banks, payment providers, fintechs, exchanges, and other financial institutions. He combines practical technical experience in blockchain strategy for global enterprises with strong academic expertise in digital assets, an ideal mix to scale our platform with both speed and rigor.

A career in crypto, from academic research to enterprise execution

Felix Eigelshoven combines academic rigor with hands-on delivery. He earned a B.Sc. in Economics & Information Systems at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt, followed by an M.Sc. in Information Systems & Digital Transformation (with distinction) at Universität Potsdam. Felix published multiple conference papers in leading Information Systems outlets as a Research Fellow at the Weizenbaum Institute, University of Potsdam in collaboration with Stellenbosch University, and the Blockchain Research Lab in Hamburg. His work on early consensus algorithm comparisons, market manipulation in digital asset markets, and digital asset market efficiency has been well-referenced in the academic community.

That foundation carried into client work. At EY, Felix advised regulated institutions on early digital asset & Custody initiatives, bringing compliance, economics, and Technology together. He then joined Accenture’s Global Innovation group, where he most recently served as Senior Strategy Manager and Web3 Lead for APAC within Technology Strategy & Advisory, based in Singapore. There, he led cross-border programs for financial institutions & TMT clients exploring tokenization, custody, and onchain payments & modular Blockchain Builds, Staking and L2 Roll ups, driving projects from strategy through to execution. He also advised product teams on tokenomics, helping align incentive models with adoption and sustainable economics.

The common thread is clear: evidence-based research turned into practical execution, exactly what institutions need as they move from pilots to live digital-asset operations.

Opening APAC for Dfns

Felix is leading the launch and growth of Dfns in Asia with a clear mission. He will build the regional go-to-market strategy for our Wallets-as-a-Service infrastructure, taking clients from first conversations through to live deployments. He will work with banks, payment rails, neobanks, and exchanges to embed secure key management, policies, and transaction services into their systems. He will also shape the enterprise sales motion and ecosystem partnerships needed for scale, making sure product, compliance, and integration align with customer timelines. At the same time, Felix will represent Dfns with regulators and industry groups to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of security, auditability, and operational readiness.

Institutional adoption of digital assets is accelerating in APAC and beyond. Central banks and regulators in major hubs are setting clearer rules. Banks are moving from pilots to production for stablecoin settlement, tokenized deposits, and onchain treasury. Fintechs are turning to wallet infrastructure rather than building their own. In this context, Felix’s mix of strategy consulting experience, regional leadership, and research depth makes him uniquely positioned to help customers adopt Dfns with confidence and turn APAC into a growth engine for the company.

We’re growing quickly to meet this demand, with more than 20 open roles across engineering, sales, marketing, and research.
